Weekly meetings usually include a speaker of interest along with social or service events throughout the year for members, spouses, their families or guests. Our club's quarterly dues cover the weekly meal, club administration, Rotary International dues, social events, and a subscription to The Rotarian, our international magazine.

Our motto is “Service Above Self.”

Through “Service Above Self” we help build goodwill and peace in the world. We have four avenues of service for our members: community, international, vocational, and club service.

Some examples include:

  • Youth and adult exchange visits with other countries

  • Veterans Memorial at Stumptown Park

  • Veteran’s Day Luncheon

  • Various projects in Peru

  • Fireman, Police, Teachers and Citizens of the Year Awards

  • Spring Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

  • Raised funds for Matthews Help Center, Rotary International Polio Plus, Matthews Free Medical Clinic, William Riley Memorial Scholarship, and more . . .
